Aonghus Sammin (Principal)

Aonghus is a qualified accountant with 20 years experience ranging from SMEs to multi-national companies to Not-for-Profit organisations. Originally from Mayo he completed his accountant training in Galway in the 1990’s before working overseas for several years, most notably with Diageo where he was responsible for implementing systems and organisational change programs. Aonghus specialises in financial management and strategic planning for SMEs and mentors clients of Fáilte Ireland and Bord Iascaigh Mhara. Aonghus also sits on the Board of COPE Galway and chairs its Finance and Operations Committees. He is also Chairman of, a youth led media initiative.



John Finan (Associate)

John runs his own consultancy firm and has worked with Bradan on different projects. A specialist in business turnarounds, start-ups and profitable disposals; John has devised and implemented winning strategies for both large and small businesses.  As Chairman and Chief Executive of major insurance companies; he successfully oversaw major acquisition and restructuring programmes.  He is currently deploying his talents with a number of start-up companies in varied industry sectors who call on his experience in mentoring, strategic planning, marketing, turnaround management, deal-making and fundraising in the UK and Ireland


Joe McKenna (Associate)

Joe McKenna is the Principal of Venture Advancement which he founded in 2005 as a vehicle to explore innovation principally in the not-for-profit sector.  Joe is a graduate of Maynooth College and has postgraduate qualifications from Providence College and the University of Notre Dame.  He has worked as Chief Executive of four foundations in the USA, UK and Ireland. Joe and Venture Advancement have collaborated with Bradan on mutual projects.


Nial O’Reilly (Associate)

Nial has worked full-time as an Executive Coach for the last 6 years and in that time has coached extensively at senior management level. His career background is in the Banking sector where he worked at all levels from Branch Manager, Regional Manager, to Senior Executive as Head of Retail in Irish Permanent and Head of Operations in Permanent TSB. He was a member of the Senior Executive Team at the Bank for 7 years. He left his banking career to pursue an ambition to run his own business and having achieved success through people for many years he was drawn to Executive Coaching. Nial is the Principal of Ignite Coaching
