Irish company is preparing itself for sale to a listed company. Valuations and Earn-out conditions have to be decided
Problem Discussion
This long standing client was approached by a listed European company that was interested in acquiring it. The owner wanted to maximise his own take while ensuring that the company and its employees would be better off within the new group
Solution Discussion
Successful negotiations and due diligence for acquisition of an Irish company by European company
We began by understanding the client’s objectives and red lines. We agreed a mutually beneficial deal and earn-out and hammered it out with the acquiring company. There followed a short due diligence process which was challenging but ultimately successful. The Irish company is now the Irish subsidiary of this multinational group and still a client of ours.
