Implemented a Risk Management program for Galway-based charity

This involved running a risk management workshop with managers of all services and head office. Participants identified risks by brainstorming and then carried out an assessment of each based on agreed terminology and rules. This gave a clear indication of each risk in terms of impact and likelihood and allowed a Risk Footprint for the organisation to be produced. Work continued with the CEO and managers to put in place a mitigation plan to manage the most severe risks. The risk management system in now embedded in the organisation and gives a practical visual representation of the organisations risk profile through the Risk Footprint and the more detailed mitigating actions contained in the Risk Management plan.
